welcome to homecoming -
our city’s own celebration of the musicians who built Austin’s sound. This is more than a fundraiser; it’s a homegrown movement rooted in gratitude, community, and pride. All November long, Austin venues are coming together to lift up the artists who made this the Live Music Capital of the World. From iconic stages to neighborhood favorites, we’re showing up for our own — raising funds and awareness to help aging musicians stay housed, cared for, and connected to the city they helped shape.

Corporate and Community Sponsorships
Local businesses and foundations can become Austin’s HOMEcoming Sponsors, showing their support for Austin’s music legacy. Sponsors receive broad recognition across campaign materials, digital content, and onsite activations. More info at hello@homeaustin.org.
HOMEcoming Launch Party
What a night! Hundreds of musicians, venue owners, and friends of Austin music came together at Arlyn Studios to celebrate the kickoff of Austin HOMEcoming on October 16th. The evening was filled with stories, songs, and community - highlighted by Council Member Ryan Alter’s proclamation declaring November as HOMEcoming Month and a heartfelt performance from Rosie Flores, joined by Eve Monsees and Mike Buck. Huge thanks to everyone who joined us, to our speakers and sponsors, and to the venues proudly displaying their HOMEcoming mums this month. Together, we’re keeping the music HOME.
Why it Matters
Austin’s music scene was built by the very artists who now face housing insecurity. Many have played thousands of shows - but applause doesn’t pay the rent.
HOME provides year-round housing support, care coordination, and dignity for the musicians who made this city sing.
HOMEcoming is our chance - as a music city - to give back.
Because we don’t just owe them a hand. We owe them a home.
Miss Lavelle White was HOME’s first client. She helped build Austin’s sound. We’re making sure she ages with dignity.
